Love and Relationships: An Interview with Kimberla Lawson Roby

24 February 2010 One Comment

From Pastor Curtis Black to Jillian Maxwell, New York Times Bestselling author Kimberla Lawson Roby has written memorable characters over a course of 14 books who deal with issues of their own relationships, sometimes with a not-so-happily-ever-after endings.  Kimberla, a Chicago native who started writing “late in life” after never being “satisfied on a job,” writes books that explore issues of infidelity, insecurities, mistrust, miscommunication, and the complexities of being a Christian despite human reactions to each situation. An inspiration to book clubs and individuals all over, Kimberla will be one of the featured writers at the upcoming Faith and Fiction Retreat held in Atlanta, Ga in June.

Between writing, book signings, and meeting with her many fans, TIFM caught up with Kimberla to talk about love, relationships, and her latest book, Be Careful What You Pray For (Morrow).
